EXETER got out of jail as David Noble's long-range thunderbolt deep into stoppage time earned them a replay.

It was hard luck on the Saddlers, who had looked like progressing to the second round after Mark Wilson's freekick had given them a half-time lead. Wilson struck after 20 minutes when Troy Archibald- Henville was penalised for a trip and Wilson's free-kick took a huge deflection to leave Exeter keeper Lenny Pidgeley wrong-footed.
